Skin Care 101 - Facial Cleansers

Perhaps the most essential of all face care needs is a great cleanser. You use it everyday twice a day every day so it is important to find one that suits you.

Step 1:
The first step to discovering what kind of facial cleanser that you need is to figure out what skin type you have. If you tend to have dry skin that constently needs to be moisturized your Mary Kay skin type is Normal/Dry. If you tend to have more oily skin you are a Combination/Oily.

Step 2:
The next step is to determine what preferences you have when it comes to your skin care. Are you in a hurry all of the time, do you love your bar soap, or are you just looking for a regular face wash??? For those in a hurry grab the Mary Kay Facial Cleansing Cloths. People who love bar soap will enjoy the benefits of TimeWise 3-In-1 Cleansing Bar. Those who need a daily face wash can use the TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser that is designed for their skin type.

Step 3:
Use it! Using the 3-In-1 Cleansers, bar, wash, or cloths, cleanse and exfoliates your skin while giving you anti-aging benefits. Use your choice twice daily and you will see results in two weeks.

Skin Care 101

From now until the end of the semester I will be giving a weekly skin care tip. Showing you what Mary Kay product to use, how to use it, and maybe even a little discount if you purchase the product following it's use in Skin Care 101.

Mary Kay allows your entire skin care line & make up colors to be tailored to fit your needs. In my class, I will focus on our TimeWise Skin Care Line. Keep in mind that there is also a Velocity line designed for teens or anyone that would like a little extra help fighting acne. There are also other product lines available. I will focus on the TimeWise because it is by far the most popular line.

If you have any questions about any of the different skin care lines e-mail me at cbaumgarth@marykay.com. Look for Skin Care 101 starting next Tuesday with facial cleansers.

The Beginning

I am having a really difficult time coming up with an appropriate theme for my blog. In the process I have thought of everything from horses to dorm news, but I think that I have settled on Mary Kay. My Mary Kay career began last November. After three months, I have yet to become involved enough. My excitement at the beginning lead me to purchase a website, business cards, and an extensive inventory. Following a hectic holiday season, my excitement fizzled and turned to dismay. Much of my family does not even know that I am selling the product. This has lead to a lack of sales and lack of confidence in my business. I recently attended one of our unit's weekly meetings and decided that I would like to put forth more effort and make time to sell the product that I have. I have created a few promotions that I will be running soon and am contacting my director to help me. This blog will be a way for me to track my progress and have my actions in written form. It will help to see exactly what I am doing to help myself. I am challenging myself to complete a contest that corporate Mary Kay is running. I would like to add seven new team members by June aka 7 in 7. I will use this blog to track my progress on my way to reaching my goal.
